What is RRW ?
The RRW – Rohingya Resilient Women is a global community initiative initiated and led by Rohingya women. Implemented in November 2023, RRW is driven by an all-Rohingya women leadership dedicated to advocating and empowering Rohingya women. The organization focuses on empowerment through skill development and advocates to combat gender-based violence. RRW’s commitment extends to promoting gender equality, raising voices against oppression, and contributing to sustainable peace within the Rohingya community. RRW is a transformative movement led by resilient women striving to break barriers and create positive change within the Rohingya society.
RRW’s Vision:
RRW envisions actively combating gender-based violence and advocating for gender equality through empowering Rohingya women with skills and linguistic improvisation. We strive to amplify women’s voices against oppression, create awareness of self-dignity, and foster sustainable peace and resilience within the Rohingya community.
RRW’s Mission:
Our mission at RRW is to unite all Rohingya women and girls, regardless of age, race, place, status, or belief, in a safe and supportive environment. Through community-based initiatives, we seek to break down barriers and empower women by providing them with the resources, information, skills, and support they need to thrive. Our mission is rooted in the principles of inclusivity, empowerment, and breaking barriers that hinder the progress of Rohingya women.
